Cabana Implements Riskalyze

We are  proud to announce that we have successfully added Riskalyze to our practice. Riskalyze is an award winning third-party independent risk alignment platform. The   platform allows you and your financial advisor to work hand in hand to mathematically capture your risk tolerance and quantify suitability. Your Riskalyze score, paired with the platform’s third-party analysis of Cabana’s portfolios (or any portfolio), can provide further confidence that you are invested in the portfolio most suited to your risk tolerance.

The first step is to complete the Riskalyze assessment survey, which will run you through a series of objective exercises based on actual dollar amounts. This results in a risk score between 1 and 99 that pinpoints your comfort level for both downside risk and potential upside appreciation in value. Once we pinpoint your Risk Number, we will work together to ensure your investment dollars are placed in the appropriate Cabana portfolio.

In addition to the above, Riskalyze allows us to perform “stress tests” on your portfolio to illustrate how it would likely perform in a variety of market conditions and events over an eight (8) year period of time. For example, the stress test might include an analysis of how your portfolio is likely to perform in a bull market (as seen in 2013); in a bear market (as seen in during the financial crisis of 2007 – 2008); or, during a period of rising  interest rates.

Finally, we can review your progress and goals using the Riskalyze Retirement Map, which results in a clear probability of meeting retirement goals and gives both the client an advisor an understanding of what steps can be taken to increase chances of success.
