This year was a monumental one for the Cabana team. In just 12 months, the company’s assets under management grew by approximately 1,400 percent; we welcomed new employees, established roots in two new offices, not to mention our team members who have celebrated milestone birthdays, had babies, engagements and more!
While the list of amazing people, opportunities and accomplishments we have encountered this year is endless, in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday I talked with a few members of the Cabana family to find out what it is they are most thankful for this season.
Our fearless leader, Chadd, is thankful for the health of friends and family. He turned the big 5-0 this year, and is that much more aware that health should never be taken for granted. As his dream of Cabana has seen continued growth and success, he is thankful for a team that allows him to work hard and dream every day; and lastly, his clients who trust him and allow him to walk with them through life.
Lou is thankful for the health and happiness of his friends and family – especially his parents who turned 82 and 76 this year!
Neal is thankful for business partners that take their work seriously… but not themselves.
Esther has taken time to notice the kind and thoughtful people who renew her faith in the basic goodness of humans. Oh… and she’s thankful for chocolate! Esther, you are not alone in that one!
Michelle shared that she is thankful to work with professionals who truly care about their clients.
Sonya is thankful for her husband David’s good health after his surgery in January. Yay, David!
Santi and Nik are both thankful for the new opportunities they were presented with this year that allowed them to grow personally and professionally.
Last, but not least, our intern Andrew is thankful for his moped. It’s hard work walking up and down the hills of The University of Arkansas’ campus!
Without the support of our clients, friends, coworkers and families, none of this was possible. It is with utmost gratitude that we wish you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving holiday! Eat up!
